I recorded another song yesterday. This song is part of my testimony. Each day, I have to remind myself that nothing in this life or on this earth will be more satisfying than my relationship with Christ. This song is called, Soul Satisfaction and it uses a play on words in the chorus, "sole," as in the only and "soul," as in your entire being. I pray that this song blesses you and honors God. Friday FUSION features music from me, singer/songwriter, Toni LaShaun Wortherly. Today's feature is lyrics only, as it will be recorded at a later date, but it sums up the experiences I have had while chasing after my dreams. The song is called FEARLESS! I wrote this song, as I do most of my songs in response to a sermon. I have spent much of my life letting fear of the unknown dictate what I do and how I do it. After hearing the sermon, I thought about how God is the ULTIMATE protector, provider and comforter, so I have nothing to fear, not even fear itself!

I started thinking about how I had often looked to everything and everyone else for satisfaction, rather than turning to God. I have not recorded the song yet, but I plan to feature it on my upcoming CD because it is a great testimony of my journey as I fell in love with Jesus. These are the lyrics:

After hearing the finished product, I felt compelled to continue writing and recording. This song is in response to feeling unworthy of love. I went through a period in which I felt I was unlovable, but God reassured me that, not only does He love me, but He loves me so much that He thought I was worth dying for and fighting for. Enjoy! The dream career that I thought I would have for the rest of my life was not what I wanted, I was VERY single for the first time in a long time, and I was living with my parents. I have always been known as a worry wart, but I needed reassurance that everything would be okay. I found that reassurance in Philippians 4:4-9.
